Pierce Manufacturing has secured an order from the Providence Fire Department for four SaberĀ® pumpers, four 100-foot heavy-duty aerial ladders, and an AscendantĀ® 100-foot heavy-duty aerial tower.
Engine 4 began service with the Rockwall (TX) Fire Department on November 4, 2019. At the same time, an engine in the same specification was placed in service at Station 2.
The new fire apparatus will replace aging trucks and will allow the Cottleville Fire Protection District to improve standardization with an entirely Pierce fleet.
The Patchogue Fire Department received a new Pierce Ascendant aerial platform that is highly maneuverable, as far as driving in its village, and also has a simple setup and operation.
Engine 1 began service with the Granbury (TX) Volunteer Fire Department on August 15, 2019. The cab/chassis is a Pierce Impel model with seating for six.
