"Tommy has now been officially installed in the front of our Museum! Visitors can now come and take a look at the exterior. Our next step is restoration, which will take quite some time."
Lake Assault Boats, a leading manufacturer of purpose-built, mission-specific fire and rescue boats, is displaying inside Lucas Oil Stadium at booth #8421.
Lake Assault Boats has delivered this custom 26-foot fire and rescue craft to the Bartow County (GA) Fire Department. The vessel is serving on Lake Allatoona, the state’s busiest lake, located 30 miles north of Atlanta.
The firefighting equipment includes a 1,500-gpm Darley fire pump (powered by a dedicated V8 engine), an Elkhart monitor, twin four-inch discharges, and a foam system.
The landing craft style, modified V-hull boat sports a 63-inch hydraulically operated bow door (with an integrated ladder for diver reentry) and flat tread areas for ATV deployment.
