AMKUS said its 240SS Super Simo Power Unit offers a new level of performance.
The 240-volt single-phase electric power unit operates two tools simultaneously with hose lengths up to 200 feet and provides performance virtually the same as the AMKUS Ultimate system.
Typically a simultaneous power unit draws about 60 amps at inrush, according to AMKUS, but the 240SS incorporates innovative technology that requires only about 5 amps to start up with virtually no inrush. The system can be installed in approximately one day.
