Akron Brass has introduced two new monitors – the electric Style 3462 Forestry Monitor and the cost-effective Style 3430 GP Manual Monitor.

With advances in electronic control technology combined with superior engineering, Akron said the compact Forestry Monitor is durable and features a sealed integrated electrical control system with waterproof locking connectors for all power and control.

It is easy to install with simple “plug and play” connections, according to the company, which said its high-speed motors provide proportional speed control for pinpoint stream positioning and accuracy.

Akron described the Style 3462 Forestry Monitor as ideal for water, foam and CAFS applications with a wide range of available nozzles.

The company’s lightweight GP Manual Monitor is rated for flows up to 1,000 gpm with continuous 360-degree rotation. It features a dual handle tiller bar design for maximum control and precise positioning with an elevation range of plus-90 degrees to minus-45 degrees.

The Style 3430, according to Akron, is ideal for master stream firefighting needs, providing simplicity and superior performance at a low cost.
