IN THE NEWS: Ferrara Fire Apparatus Receives Safety Award

Ferrara Fire Apparatus, Inc. has received the LWCC Safest 70 Award from the Louisiana Workers’ Compensation Corporation (LWCC). The award is in recognition of Ferrara’s “outstanding excellence and commitment to workplace safety,” notes LWCC President and CEO Kristin Wall. Ferrara Fire Apparatus President and CEO Chris Ferrara says the recognition is affirmation of the company’s beliefs in improving overall safety. “Leading the way in firefighter safety is more than a slogan for our company. Our commitment to making trucks safer for firefighters to operate starts with the men and women here at our factory. We can’t lead the way in firefighter safety unless we first lead the way with a safe workplace.”
