Physio-Control, manufacturers of the LIFEPAK 12 Defibrillator/Monitor, released a rechargeable Lithium-ion battery for the LIFEPAK 12, along with the REDI-CHARGE battery charger.
A configuration using two new Li-ion batteries offers 12 hours of monitoring. Battery life depends on how the device has been configured, current environmental conditions, and the monitoring parameters.
The REDI-CHARGE supports the LIFEPAK 12 defibrillator/monitor and LIFEPAK 15 monitor/defibrillator batteries, which include a rapid charge turnaround to charge batteries to full capacity in about four hours. —www.physio-control.com, 800-442-1142
