Smeal Fire Apparatus Co. and Gimaex International stepped out together at Interschutz 2015 with the display of the Smeal CORE™ Multi-Mission Pumper with OMNI™ Control System. The pumper is being shown alongside the full Gimaex fire apparatus product offering at Pavilion Stand P33 and outdoor exhibit space M09. The companies announced a teaming arrangement in April and this is the first trade show where the companies have exhibited together.

CORE Multi-Mission Pumper
The CORE Multi-Mission Pumper features a full-size, drive-shaft-driven, midship pump but also eliminates the space taken up by a traditional pump panel. This provides uncompromised firefighting capability, the maneuverability of a short wheelbase and maximum storage space. The CORE pumper being shown also features Smeal’s OMNI Control System. With this technology, Smeal has packaged proven electrically controlled valves in a revolutionary, compact control module. This control module is easy to remove and place in almost any location on the truck keeping the pump operator in a safe location and enabling them to fully view the scene. Not only does the OMNI control system have the ability to control the pump and valves, but can also control the monitor, scene lights, truck-mounted cameras, generator, air horn and check on water and foam levels, all in one convenient and portable package with an intuitive and easy-touse interface.
Interschutz 2015
Interschutz 2015 is the international exhibition for fire prevention, disaster relief, rescue, safety and security. Around 1,300 exhibitors from more than 40 countries present their products and services at the event, which runs from June 8 to 13. Interschutz is being held at the Hannover Exhibition Grounds.
