Roxbury (NJ) Auctioning Off 1990s Fire Truck

The Township of Roxbury, New Jersey, is auctioning off a 1996 International/Central pumper. The fire apparatus could be a good fit for a construction business, landscaping company, or volunteer fire department.

The current bid is $4,536.36. The online auction, open to the public at municibid.com, ends Monday, Sept. 23. 

The pumper starts and is operable. It has 32,190 miles on it and features an International-8.7L, V6-diesel engine, Allison-automatic transmission, Tilt steering, A/C, dual airbags, and remote mirrors. It has a 35,000-pound gross vehicle weight. Maintenance records are available. It was removed from service Aug. 5, 2024.

All of the proceeds from this auction will go into improving the Township of Roxbury’s local community. These funds can be used for road maintenance, setting up local events for residents, community programs, public safety initiatives, and more.
