Eugene-Springfield (OR) Firefighters Put New Pumper in Service

A $672,000 engine has been delivered to the Eugene-Springfield (OR) Fire Department, according to a report published by The Register-Guard.

The new engine, built by Pierce, will replace a 1997 Pierce and will be assigned to Station 14, according to the report.

It is designed to improve the deployment of equipment and be easier to drive, according to the report, which also said it comes with ladder and hose storage and more room in the back cab for easier access.
