Irondale (AL) FD Holds Ceremony for Six New Fire Apparatus

The Irondale Fire Department welcomed three new pumpers, a ladder truck, and two rescue units to its fleet during a ceremony Saturday in front of city hall, wbrc.com reported.

Irondale Mayor James Douglas Stewart, Jr. said the six new vehicles are already in service and thanked city leaders, the report said.

“It was a wonderful morning with Fr. Leonard blessing the newest fire department engines, rescues and ladder truck,” the Irondale Fire Department said in a Facebook post. “Thank you Leeds Fire Department and Trussville Fire & Rescue for assisting with the ceremony.”
