The new configuration offers a shorter wheelbase than conventional top-mount pumpers because of the narrow 22-inch-wide pump operator’s area while maintaining 60-inch-wide front-side compartments, lower preconnected handlines, and increased storage space with enclosed ladder tunnel storage, a walkway storage area, a large rear storage compartment, and optional rooftop storage compartments.
E-ONE also recently added A2Z Fire Apparatus to its dealer network in California. With two sales and service locations in Colton and Sacramento as well as mobile repair, service, and installation vehicles, A2Z Fire Apparatus is looking forward to branching out into the first responder industry.

DUPONT AND LION have collaborated on a new offering for firefighters and first responders: gear that protects from the inside out with blends of DuPont™ Kevlar® filament and DuPont Nomex® and Kevlar® staple. LION’s Janesville® V-Force® garments with new Kevlar filament-based outer shells and thermal liners offer comfort and strength, using Kevlar and Nomex for added comfort, mobility, and durability. Coupled with DuPont materials, LION’s design for its V-Force turnout gear offers a tailored cut that differs significantly from other available models and provides a unique fit for better mobility, less physiological burden, and enhanced ruggedness. Every layer of LION’s firefighter protective apparel includes Kevlar® and Nomex®, either alone or in blends. They are critical materials in three key layers: an outer shell with cut and flame resistance, a moisture barrier that prevents penetration of liquid and bloodborne pathogens, and a thermal liner that provides efficient thermal insulation while not restricting user mobility.
