Holmdel (NJ) Firefighters Celebrate New Station and Engine

Firefighters with the Holmdel (NJ) Fire & Rescue Company No. 2 recently held a ribbon-cutting ceremony for a new station and a push-in for a new apparatus for the new facility, according to a report published by the web site Tapinto.

The web site reported the new $4.2 million station was completed just in time for International Firefighter Day and features a bright red exterior and drive-thru capabilities.

Shortly after the building dedication celebrations, the department hosted a traditional wet-down and push-in for a new 2021 Pierce Enforcer engine, according to the report.
