Claysburg (PA) Volunteer Fire Company Replaces Engine 70 After 18 Months

After being without its main engine for the better part of a year and a half, the Claysburg Volunteer Fire Company has taken delivery of a new $400,000 engine.

The new Spartan truck replaced the loaner from the Alum Bank Volunteer Fire Company in Bedford County.

The community stepped up to help pay for the apparatus, which is officially in service.
