Newmar has released its IF-16 DC Noise Filter, which reduces alternator whine in transmit and receive operation for mobile two-way radios.

The company said the commercial grade inductive filter is simple to install in the positive power lead via the provided OEM-T inline connectors which are plug-n-play compatible with all popular models of land mobile and marine radios.

The circuitry is encased in an insulated rubber sleeve that can be tie-wrapped into place below dash, in consoles or to wire harness assemblies. The IF-16 noise filter is rated at 20 amps maximum and 16 amps continuous service.
