Andrew J. Starnes

Andrew J. Starnes is a retired battalion chief from North Carolina with decades of experience in the fire service. He has a level II thermography certification and is the thermal imaging subject matter expert for Project Kill the Flashover and the lead instructor for Insight Training LLC. He is a level II instructor, an adjunct instructor for the department, and a North Carolina fire officer III. He has a bachelor's degree in fire science administration science. His thermal imaging curriculum is internationally recognized.

Joseph DeVito is a captain at Fort Myers Beach (FL) Fire Department and has been there 16 years with a total of 27 years in public service including volunteer and EMS transport services. He is Level 1 Infrared Certified and has a Fire Officer designation from the Center for Public Safety Excellence.

Manfred Kihn

Manfred Kihn is a 19-year veteran of the fire service, having served as an ambulance officer, emergency services specialist, firefighter, captain, and fire chief. He has been a member of Bullard’s Emergency Responder team since 2005 and is the company’s fire training specialist for thermal imaging technology. He is certified through the Law Enforcement Thermographers’ Association (LETA) as a thermal imaging instructor and is a recipient of the Ontario Medal for Firefighters Bravery.
