Advanced Drafting Operations: Getting Greedy with Your Water in the Rural Environment
In this Webcast, you’ll learn fireground-proven methods for maximizing flow capability while operating from a static source. You’ll get live interactive access to rural water expert Andy Soccodato without having to travel. The session will cover drafting techniques that don’t require the use of a primer and then methods for expanding the initial system to incorporate multiple intakes. This setup will yield higher fire flows and reduce the amount of work required by the pumper during rural water supply operations. Soccodato will also discuss options and methods for accessing water from challenging water sources.
Andy Soccodato has been in the fire service since 2006 and has served in both career and volunteer organizations.
