Engine 4 began service with the Rockwall (TX) Fire Department on November 4, 2019. At the same time, an engine in the same specification was placed in service at Station 2. The cab (12-inch raised roof) is the Cyclone II (long) model. Cab seating for 4 is provided along with an equipment cabinet installed at the upper vista of the cab. Two EMS cabinets are mounted to the cab walls over the front wheel wells. Each cabinet features exterior access. Rescue-style compartments (two on the left and two on the right) are located on top of the body. Both cab and body are constructed of 3/16” extruded aluminum and ROM roll-up compartment doors are part of the body package. Additional SCBA bottle storage is located adjacent to the rear wheel wells on each side.

Power is provided by a Cummins L9 450-hp engine and an Allison EVS 3000 5-speed transmission. The V-MUX electrical system is featured as is the Vista IV display with screens on each side of the engine cover.
The apparatus has a Hale Qmax 1,500-gpm single-stage pump (midship) and a UPF Poly III 750-gallon “R” shaped tank. It has a 30-gallon foam cell. Foam is plumbed to the front bumper jump line, the crosslays, the left rear discharge, and the booster reel. The front jump line is 100’ of 1¾-inch hose, and the two crosslays carry 200’ of 1¾-inch hose and 200’ of 2½-inch hose. A Hannay booster reel with 200’ of 1-inch line is mounted in a rear compartment below the hosebed. The hosebed features a 4-panel, hinged aluminum cover and carries 1,000’ of 5-nch LDH hose, 200’ of 3-inch hose and 200’ of 2-inch hose connected to a gated wye and a “Cleveland” lay of 100’ of 2-inch hose. Additional sections of 5 inch LDH and 2½-inch hose are stored in a left side compartment adjacent to the pump panel. A “New York Hi Rise pack” (two 50’ sections of 2½-inch hose) and appliance bag is also part of the hose load. An Akron Apollo High Riser monitor is mounted on top of the pump, and a Task Force Tips BlitzFire monitor is part of the firefighting package. Alco-Lite ground ladders (24’ two-section, 14’ roof, and a 10’ attic with shoes) and pike poles are stored in the tunnel on the upper right rear of the body.
The warning lights include a Whelen Freedom-IV (72 inch) light bar (Model F4X7) with a GTT Opticom (Model 795H), and a Roto Ray is mounted on the cab face. Whelen M6 Super LED lights adorn the perimeter of the cab and body. Two Whelen Model L31 beacons and Whelen Model B63M7 lights are mounted on the upper rear corners of the body. Audio warning devices include a pedestal mounted Federal Q2B and a Whelen Model 295SLSA1 electronic siren module. Two Whelen Model SP123BMC speakers are mounted through the front bumper.
Scene lighting is provided by a HiViz FireTech Model FT-B-72 light bar (72-inch with both marker and scene lights) that is mounted on the brow below the warning light bar. FireTech mini brow lights (35 inch) are mounted over the crew doors on each side. FireTech Model FT-MB-2.18-W mini brow lights (21 inch) are recessed in the corners of the upper body panels on each side. Whelen Pioneer Plus PFP1 scene lights are mounted high on the rear of the apparatus.
