Bullard promoted Eric Pasch to president and chief operating officer, succeeding Rick Miller, who served as president and chief executive officer (CEO) for the past 12 years.

Miller will remain Bullard’s CEO in 2011 and will serve the company in an advisory role as a member of Bullard’s Board of Directors beginning in 2012. Under Miller’s leadership, Bullard grew its personal protective equipment business in the United States, as well as internationally.

Pasch joined Bullard in 1999 as executive vice president and chief financial officer. He will lead the company’s growth efforts with his financial management skills, manufacturing operations experience and his international orientation. He will manage all functional operations of the company worldwide.

In addition to announcing the Pasch promotion, Bullard said it hired a new vice president of marketing and sales, Jim Vogel, who has 25 years of experience in marketing and sales management in the flame and gas detection segment of the safety industry.

Prior to joining Bullard, which is headquartered in Cynthiana, Ky., Vogel served as vice president, sales and marketing for Detector Electronics Corporation in Minneapolis, Minn.
