Newmar has developed a compartment temperature monitor called the TG-3 that provides a simple solution to the latest National Fire Protection Association requirement that all mobile air fill stations/compartments be monitored for high temperature.

The company said the instrument is also ideal for monitoring temperature in medical cabinets where extreme ambient temperatures can ruin first aid supplies.

The TG-3 monitors a range from minus-20 degrees to 160 degrees Fahrenheit from up to 3 different sensor zones. It features an easy-to-read backlit, digital LCD display with accuracy of plus-or-minus-1-percent at full scale. It has programmable high/low audible per zone alarm functions controlled by touch buttons on the instrument front.

Temperature sensors are designed for mounting on a wall or any flat surface and are supplied with 25 feet of shielded wire. The waterproof instrument mounts in a standard 2-inch engine instrument cut-out and operates on 12 or 24 volts DC.
