Petzl now offers the compact, durable PIXA series of headlamps that keep hands free while providing versatile lighting options to accommodate different work conditions.

The headlamps feature integrated electronic power regulation, offering a constant level of luminosity and lighting distance and insuring reserve lighting that will last up to ten hours, according to Petzl. PIXA headlamps are compatible with lithium ion or rechargeable Ni-MHz batteries, both of which can extend estimated burn time.

The rotating mode selector dial is easy to access and has excellent grip, even while wearing gloves. The lamp body may be rotated up to 45 degrees, according to need.

The headlamps withstand shocks, falls, crushing and other incidents of daily abuse that often occur on a professional worksite. They are waterproof and remain fully operational even after complete immersion (degree of protection IP 67).

Petzl said the headlamps have been tested for resistance to a number of chemical substances and are certified for use in explosive environments.

Three PIXA models are available depending on lighting needs.
