City Hall Portsmouth NH made the following Facebook post Thursday, Oct. 19:
This morning Portsmouth New Hampshire Fire Department welcomed a 1920 American LaFrance Chemical Fire Truck donated to the city by Friends of Italian Americans, and Bayberry Vintage Autos, LLC.
Fire Chief William McQuillen said, “We are excited to have this historic 1920 American LaFrance fire truck. We’re looking forward to getting it out in the public. Something like this, that has been so well-maintained for over 100 years, people want to see it, and we are so happy to do that.”
