Video: Jackson Trail (GA) Volunteer Fire Department Toyne Pumper

Built on the Spartan Metro Star LFD platform, the pumper boasts the durability and power requirements for rapid incident response. Under the hood is a Cummins ISL9 engine, capable of producing 450 horsepower. Precisely applying that power is a rugged Allison 3000 EVS transmission. The body of Jackson Trail’s Toyne consists of durable bolted painted stainless steel.

To accommodate swift water delivery, Toyne equipped JTVFD’s new rig with a 1,500-gallon-per-minute Waterous CSUC 20 pump and a Fire Research ThrottleXcel pressure governor with remote engine throttling capabilities. Water storage comes in the form of a 750-gallon UPF tank. For precise monitoring of water levels, an ICI SL Plus tank gauge was fitted to the pumper.
