Photo of the Day: February 6, 2020

This pumper is from a collection of photos from Tim Olk highlighting a Still and Box on S. Parnell. The rig was manufactured by Luverne Fire Apparatus for the Chicago (IL) Fire Department. Luverne was a fire truck manufacturer that, along with Quality Fire Apparatus, was purchased by Spartan Motors. Eventually the two were merged into one company called Crimson Fire, a subsidiary of Spartan Motors. Crimson ultimately became Spartan ER, which was recently purchased by the REV Group.
