When spec’ing its new rescue-pumper, the Boulder (CO) Fire Department chose a 12′ aluminum SVI-body mounted on a 10″ raised roof Spartan Gladiator chassis, which houses a powerful 450-hp Cummins L9 engine. This rescue-pumper comes with a TFT Hurricane 1,250-gpm deck gun with wireless remote, 500-gallon water tank, single-stage centrifugal Class “A” fire pump, OnScene aluminum drop-down cargo slides, and  more.
